In an effort to serve the Middle & High School Students of Mountain Lake better we are offering the following Service Options for the Fall. The Service Options below will launch with “the EVENT” to end Summer on Aug 4&5.

EVOLVE
Saturday: High School @ 4PM | Middle School @ 5:30PM
Sunday: Middle School @ 10AM | High School @ 11:30AM

Now let me unpack the reasoning behind these particular time frames for our Students. Many of you know that we are set to launch ‘the blend’ on Aug 4 at 5:30PM, which will be our weekly service geared towards Young Adults and Singles. You’re probably also aware that one of the things that is of paramount importance at Mountain Lake is to encourage our members to: “Serve in one service! Worship in the other service!” Originally we had placed High School in the 5:30PM slot for Saturday, but quickly realized that our optimal demographic to serve this age group would be eliminated due to ‘the blend’ taking place in that hour. So, we switched the Middle and High Services and everything fell in place!

Now a family with Middle School Age children can come worship on Saturday in the 4:00PM and then serve in a wide range of capacities during the 5:30PM while their Middle School age student attends EVOLVE. It also gives our High School Students the opportunity to serve at some level in the Middle School service. They’ll worship at 4:00PM and serve in EVOLVE Middle at 5:30PM!

Everything that I unpacked in relation to the Saturday service options also rings true for your Sunday services for Middle & High School Students. Once again this is all in an effort to serve the Students of Mountain Lake in a greater capacity.
